Lincoln Electric acquires Inrotech

Lincoln Electric has announced its acquisition of Inrotech A/S, an automation system integration and technology firm in Odense, Denmark. Inrotech’s automated welding systems offer proprietary adaptive intelligence software and computer vision to help guide and optimize the welding process without the need for programming or the use of CAD files. The vision-based technology is suitable for use in the shipbuilding, energy, and heavy industry sectors, where welding accessibility can be challenging for traditional automated systems.
